Vision for 2016

Last year’s vision UNLOCKED doors that had never been opened and made a way to share the Gospel with millions of people through the U.N. ministry.  This year God has given a vision which moves beyond unlocking and brings us into levels of faith so deep that it will defy the standard, move mountains and see the work of the spirit like never before.  He calls us DEEPER in 2016.

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.              1 Corinthians 2:9

This depth of faith isn’t anything we’ve seen before. When we imagine the acts of faith or miracles we’ve heard about or seen with our eyes it doesn’t begin to encompass what God will do this year.  The things we’ve been praying for and wanting to accomplish for God don’t scratch the surface of what He is planning. God will reveal these things to us in the Spirit. This is the key: moving deeper.  The Lord wants to know how far you desire to go. The enemy wants to remind you of your shortcomings, failures, and the things you lack. But there is a place in God that you will no longer focus on what you can’t do and focus on what He CAN do.  We are going to a deep place where we won’t need anything else, but God.

Jesus asked Peter to move deeper when his disciples were in the midst of the storm.  He was using the storm to teach them, and as he walked on the water towards them, he was waiting for one of them to not just watch the miracle from afar, not to be just an observer, but to have the revelation of deeper faith.

And Peter answered him and said, “Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water”. And he said, “Come”.           Matthew 6:28

Peter did something no one had ever done before. Once he from the familiarity of the boat, the miraculous took over.  There was a faith that rose up in Peter, but the storm had to be there. Peter’s problem was doubt, as he looked at the storm he struggled. We need to keep our eyes on God and not on storms, allowing our faith to take us places we have never been in the past.  Let’s get out of the boat in 2016.  Let’s keep our eyes on Him and let our faith take us deeper.  #HECALLSUSDEEPER2016
